Oppo Find X8 will one-up the iPhone 16 Pro in one key area | Infinium-tech

Oppo’s Find X8 series is expected to launch in China next month. Previous rumors suggest that the device will feature an overhauled all-flat design and a “quick button” that mimics the new capture button on the iPhone 16 series. A new comparison with the iPhone 16 series has emerged through a photo showing the display bezel of the Find X8.

OnePlus founder and Oppo chief product officer, Pete Lau, has shared a photo showing the Oppo Find X8 next to the iPhone 16 Pro. If you can’t tell which phone is which – let’s just say that the iPhone 16 Pro is at the top while the Find X8 is at the bottom. The focus here is on the bezels and most importantly, Oppo’s phone has the same or thinner notches around the screen than Apple’s flagship.

major leakster Iceuniverse called out The Find X8 is claimed to have bezels with a uniform width of 1.45mm, which will make it the phone with the thinnest bezels in the market when it launches.

It seems like Oppo is set to compete even more with Apple’s flagship as previous rumours also suggest that the Find X8 will get its own Dynamic Island and magnetic wireless charging like Apple’s MagSafe.

As per earlier rumours, the Find X8 should launch with a flat 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with FHD+ resolution and 1-120Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to be one of the first devices to feature MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9400 chipset. It will also feature a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 3x periscope zoom camera. Apart from this, the Find X8 should pack a 5,600 mAh battery with 100W wired charging.
