Oppo Find X8 series to bring brighter displays, Pro variant returns | Infinium-tech
Leakster Digital ChatStation has revealed that Oppo is preparing to launch three Find X8 phones – the Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8 Ultra. That’s right, there will be both a Pro and Ultra variant, which would be a first for the X series.
The source shared some details about the new phones on Weibo, including the display specifications and the chipsets that the Find X8 series will run on.
The Find X8 phones will once again use two chipsets – the Dimensity 9400 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. We can assume the vanilla will get a MediaTek chip and the Ultra will get a Qualcomm platform, which begs the question of which way the Pro will go.
Speaking of the screen, the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro will have 1260p panels – flat on the vanilla and curved on the edges for the Pro. The Find X8 Ultra will come with a QHD panel screen. All displays will be 8T LTPO OLEDs by BOE with “significantly improved” brightness.

Oppo traditionally launches its Find X flagship in the first quarter of the year, which means we should expect a Find X8 phone between January and March 2025. However, there are rumours that MediaTek and Snapdragon are the two phones so Oppo could push the launch to this year.
