As far as we know right now, the Find X8 duo should launch in China in October. We already have a good idea of what kind of specs to expect and we’ve already seen the vanilla Find X8 in the wild. Now we have some new real-life photos of the Oppo Find X8, unfortunately, encased in a very thick case.

Still, we can see enough of the phone’s design to confirm previous design leaks, such as the extra-large camera island on the back. We can also see that the case has perfectly placed cutouts for all the mics and sensors at the top of the device. This seems relevant since it’s unlikely that the maker of said case forgot to include a cutout for the alleged capture button, which should sit at the bottom right of the phone. The button is also allegedly capacitive and not a real button, so it’s not like you can press it through a thick case. Could this mean that the Oppo Find X8 doesn’t have any extra buttons?
According to recent rumors, the Find X8 will use the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset just like its Pro sibling. The display is said to be a 6.7-inch “1.5K” 120Hz flat screen. The handset will apparently feature a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide, and a 3x periscope zoom camera. There will be a 5,600 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging to keep the lights on.
