OnePlus officially exits Europe and North America, will continue in India | Infinium-tech
OnePlus has announced that it will be exiting the European and North American markets. In a separate announcement, the company confirmed that its India operations will continue.
For the European and North American markets, the company will no longer release new products. However, existing devices will continue to receive software updates and security patches as per their schedule. Customer service channels will also remain open to honor warranties and support claims.
The North American Community website and app will shut down on August 16, 2026 at 11:59 pm ET. However, European communities and stores will remain open for now.
For the Indian market, the company has said that it will continue its operations as normal, with other product launches in the pipeline including the upcoming OnePlus N6X.
OnePlus also confirmed that all existing eligible OnePlus devices will switch from OxygenOS to ColorOS with the Android 17 update in all regions.
This announcement from OnePlus comes after several weeks of rumors and speculations about the brand’s closure in western markets. more recently, bloomberg A story was also released in which it was alleged that Indian operations will also be closed in 2027 while only Chinese operations will survive.
