OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE5 make official debut | Infinium-tech

The Nord series has become an important contributor for the brand and is now entering its fifth generation with Nord 5 and Nord CE5. As expected, Nord 5 offers more powerful chipset, nicher display and better cameras, while CE5 offers the largest battery on OnePlus phone at 7,100mAh.

OnePlus Nord 5

Nord 5 is built around 6.83 inch AMOLED with FHD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The panel has been rated in 1,800 knots peak brightness and has a Gorilla Glass 7i Protection. There is an embedded optical fingerprint scanner and a 50MP (Samsung JN5) selfie camera.

The OnePlus Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s went this time with 3 chipset, around which with 8/12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256/512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The back has a pair of cameras with a 50MP (LYT-700) main shooter equal to 24 mm and a pair of cameras with an 8MP ultravide module equal to 15 mm. OnePlus is bringing its raw HDR and real tone exposure algorithms from the OnePlus 13 series.

Both new phones boot oxygen 15 based on Android 15 and come with OnePlus AI suite, including AI Eraser, AI Summary, AI North and many other features operated by Google Gemini. You also get OnePlus’ Open Canvas Multitasking Interface, which made your debut on the OnePlus Open.

Nord 5 has a 6,800mAh battery with 80W wired charging and also supports reverse wired charging up to 5W speed.

OnePlus Nord 5 marble sand, dry ice and phantom gray colors. The pricing starts at € 449/£ 399 for 8/256GB trim and goes up to € 499/£ 449 for the 12/512GB version. Open sales begin later today.

OnePlus Nord CE5

The Nord CE5 opts for 6.77-inch AMOLED (FHD+ 120Hz) with 1,430 NITS peak shine. The panel has an embedded optical fingerprint sensor and a 16MP (IMX480) selfie camera.

The bottom of the hood is a MediaTek Demistance 8350, which is paired with 8/12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage, which is expandable.

The standout feature here is a 7,100mAh battery – a capacity that is commonly attached to small tablets. OnePlus claims over 27 hours of Youtube playback, using 18+ hours of Instagram and more than 9 hours of gaming. You also get support for 80W supervisor wired charging and bypass charging.

For cameras, Nord 5 CE brings a 26mm 50 MP main shooter (Lyt-600), with an 8MP (OV08D10) equal to 16 mm OIS with OIS with ultravide lens. Like Nord 5, OnePlus is bringing its raw HDR and real tone exposure algorithms from OnePlus 13 series

OnePlus Nord CE5 comes in Black Infinity, Marble Mist and Nexus Blue Colors. The pricing starts at € 299/£ 249 for 8/128GB trim and goes up to € 349/£ 299 for 8/256GB version. Open sales begin later today.
