Today Digital Chat Station has confirmed an 8 Gen 3 option for the vanilla model, and revealed that the Ace 5 Pro will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Both models will have at least a 6,000 mAh battery, flat metal frame, optical fingerprint sensor, and a “1.5K” 8T LTPO high-spec OLED screen manufactured by BOE.

These will feature a 50-megapixel main rear camera, as well as two additional cameras, but there will be no periscope telephoto (which appears to be exclusive to the flagship numbered series at the moment).
While the Ace 5 Pro is likely going to be limited to the Chinese market for its entire existence, the Ace 5 will be rebranded as the OnePlus 13R internationally and launch alongside the OnePlus 13, as the Ace 3 was sold as the 12R outside of China.
