nubia V80 Design launches with 6.75″ 120Hz display, 4G connectivity and an AI button | Infinium-tech
Nubia V80 design launched in secret in multiple markets. Note that this is the same model that leaked as the ZTE Blade V80 Vita, so other markets may see it under a different name.
The phone is built around its 6.75″ LCD – it’s a 900 x 1,940px panel with a 317ppi pixel density. It runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach 1,000 nits of peak brightness. The display has a 16MP selfie camera punch-hole, but there’s no fingerprint reader – that’s on the side.

The Nubia V80 design measures 7.7 mm thick and weighs 191 grams. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that is capable of 22.5W charging and 10W reverse charging.
The back is home to a “50MP AI camera”, although three clear lenses seem a bit odd – as far as we can tell, there’s only a 2MP depth sensor next to the 50MP main one.

The phone is powered by Unisoc T7280 – a 12nm chipset with 2x Cortex-A75 @ 2.2GHz and 6x A55 @ 1.8GHz cores and a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. The phone is equipped with up to 8GB of RAM, which can be expanded with 12GB more virtual RAM.

The phone has 256GB of built-in storage with no expansion option. This is a dual-SIM phone, but note that the T7280 only has a 4G modem. Additional connectivity includes NFC (region dependent) and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
An off-grid communications option called Nubia LinkFree is available – it works over Bluetooth and can handle voice calls and messaging even outside cell coverage. The range is up to several hundred meters but will vary depending on the surrounding area.

Apart from the camera, the Android 16-based software has several other AI features – real-time translation, scam detection, AI writing and smart replies, image editing and transformation, wallpaper creation and more. All of these are easily accessible with the dedicated AI button.
The phone is available in four colors: Midnight Black, Pale Amber, Celadon Cyan and Peach Fuzz. Also, the body has been given IP64 (dust tight, splash resistant) rating.

The Nubia V80 Design is available in Malaysia for MYR 570 for the 8/256GB unit ($140/€120). It can also be found in the Philippines, but the base model is 4/256GB and is priced at PHP 5,800 ($100/€85), while the 8/256GB variant is PHP 6,500 ($110/€95).
