nubia Fold goes official with SD 8 Elite and 6,560mAh battery | Infinium-tech

Last week, we saw some renders for the Nubia Fold – the brand’s first book-style foldable with a Nubia Flip3 clamshell. Japanese telco Y!mobile has now listed the Nubia Fold on its website along with its key specifications and price.

The Nubia Fold features an 8-inch main display with 2,480 x 2,200px resolution and a 6.5-inch cover screen with 2,748 x 1,172px resolution. Both panels offer a 120Hz refresh rate, and the main panel supports Split View mode for some apps.

The device measures 144 x 160 x 5.4 mm when unfolded, and when folded it becomes 11.1 mm thick and weighs 249 grams.

The Nubia Fold uses last year’s flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite with 12GB of RAM and 265GB of storage. The software side is covered by Android 15, and you also get IP54 ingress protection against dust and water.

The back houses a 50MP main camera, paired with a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 5MP macro cam. You also get two 20MP selfie cameras, one placed on the main display and the other on the cover screen.

Elsewhere, the Nubia Fold packs a 6,560mAh battery with 55W charging.

The Nubia Fold comes in a single black color and is on sale JPY 178,560which is transformed $1,145The device will launch in Japan on December 4 and will also be launched in other markets in 2026,
