Nothing is “exploring” how to quickly make its phones compatible with AirDrop | Infinium-tech
Yesterday, Google announced that Android’s Quick Share is now compatible with Apple’s AirDrop, but with one big problem — the integration is limited to Google’s own Pixel 10 family. This may change in the future, as Google in the past has had exclusive features for its Pixels that eventually became available on every Android device. But Google isn’t saying whether that’ll happen, at least not yet.
Meanwhile, no one paid any attention to this development. The company’s founder and CEO, Carl Pei, has revealed that Nothing is already exploring how to bring this AirDrop compatibility to its phones as soon as possible. Unfortunately, there are no additional details yet, but hopefully Pei and Nothing will announce something soon.
AirDrop is now compatible with Android! That’s the kind of progress we need to see.

And hopefully whatever solution Nothing comes up with will be as easy-to-use as Google’s, without requiring any extra steps — do you want to share something from Android to an Apple device? This will be visible in Quick Share. Do you want to share something from an Apple device to Android? It will appear in AirDrop. it just works,
