Motorola Moto X70 Air unveiled: 6mm thick with a 4,800mAh battery | Infinium-tech
The new wave of thin phones started at the top, but mid-range versions already exist. Motorola is calling it Moto X70 Air and it is less than 6 mm thick and weighs 159 grams.
The phone has a 6.7″ screen, 120Hz OLED with a 1220p+ resolution. It’s a flat panel with 4,500 nits peak brightness and has a 50MP selfie camera punch-hole. There’s also a fingerprint reader at the bottom.
Although not as thin as premium models like the Galaxy S25 Edge and iPhone Air, the Motorola has a bigger battery – 4,800mAh with 68W fast wired and 15W wireless charging to boot. For comparison, the Samsung has a 3,900mAh capacity and the Apple phone has a 3,149mAh battery.

Additionally, the metal frame of the X70 Air is reinforced to survive being dropped on the floor at various angles. And it is rated IP68 and IP69 for submersion and resistance against hot water jets.
The back is available in several Pantone colors: gadget gray, Lily pad And bronze greenEach is paired with an accent color for the rings around the camera module and the power button on the side.

The camera department features a 50MP main module with a Samsung sensor (unclear which one) and a 50MP 120° ultra-wide camera.

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, with a 3D vapor chamber for cooling, 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 256/512GB UFS 3.1 storage. There is no microSD slot or 3.5mm headphone jack.
Motorola Moto X70 Air has been listed lenovo.com In China, but no price yet. Judging by recent leaks, this should be filled soon and a global launch is just around the corner. Note that the global version will likely be sold under the name Motorola Edge 70.
