Last month, a rumor spread in China that the upcoming Vivo X200 will feature a smaller screen than its previous smartphone X100 launched last year. Today, some more information about the X200 has surfaced from the same source.

Digital Chat Station on Weibo says that the X200 will be a small-screen flagship with a 1.5K resolution flat panel with symmetrical bezels all around. And not just symmetrical, but visibly smaller bezels.

The X200 will have a custom 50 MP “super large” Sony sensor for its main camera, as well as a 3x telephoto shooter. The battery will use high-density silicon, which can pack more mAh into the same size as older technology.

According to a previous rumor on the matter, the X200 will be powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9400 SoC, it will also feature a 50 MP ultrawide on the back, and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.

It’s unclear when the X200 will launch, but keep in mind the X100 officially launched in November last year, so we might still have to wait quite a while.
