MediaTek Dimensity 7100 SoC is official | Infinium-tech
MediaTek has quietly unveiled the Dimensity 7100 chipset, presumably the successor to the 7050. The 7100 comes with an octa-core CPU consisting of four Arm Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2 GHz.
The CPU is paired with Mali-G610MC2 GPU. The SoC supports LPDDR5 memory at 5500Mbps and LPDDR4x at 4266Mbps, UFS 3.1 storage, and a maximum camera resolution of 200MP. It also has display resolution support up to 1200×2600 and support up to 120Hz refresh rate.

The Dimensity 7100 features a 5G modem with support for dual 5G SIMs and a peak downlink speed of 3.3Gbps. The chipset also supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and location using GPS, BeiDou, Glonass, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC.
The upcoming Infinix Note Edge, which is rumored to go official later this month, could be the first device to use the Dimensity 7100 – unless the Tecno Pova Curve 2 beats it to it.
