MediaTek announces Dimensity 9500 flagship chipset | Infinium-tech
MediaTek has announced its latest flagship chipset, The Demense 9500. The company claims that it sets a new standard in on-device AI, gaming and power efficiency.
Demistance 9500 uses the new generation ARM CPU core with the ‘All Big Core’ design. It uses a single arm C1-AULTRA core that is at four C1-PRO core for 4.21GHz, three C1-Premium cos and Octa-Core design. MediaTek claims that this chip has 32% more single-core and 17% more than 9400 than multi-core performance, and the ultra core receives up to 55% less power consumption on extreme performance. 9500 is also called 30% more efficient while doing multitasking. There is also a rapid AI perception, and Armv9.3 support with new SM2 instructions for ML efficiency.

Demistance 9500 also has a new 4-channel UFS 4.1 storage support, which claims 100% faster sequential data speed.
Demistance 9500 has the new ARM G1-Altra GPU, which claims MediaTek that provides 33% high peak performance and 42% better power efficiency. It has double tracing units double and 112% promises rapidly rapid performance. It is supported up to 120fps rated gaming with projection. Vulcan’s Ray Tracing Pipeline is also supported for the Magalites and Nanite features of the unrealistic 5.
Dimstation 9500 has a Ninth-generation NPU 990 with the generative AI engine 2.0 which claims that it doubles its predecessor’s calculation power, and introduces bitnet 1.58-bit large model processing with 33% low power consumption. With doubling integer and floating-point computing capabilities, users can expect a 100% faster 3 billion parameters LLM output, 128k token long processing and 4K image generations with less power consumption of 56% on extreme performance. The new super skilled NPU ranks the first place of its kind of integrated calculation-in-memory architecture to reduce power consumption and enable the AI model to run continuously.
The new Mediaq IMAGIQ 1190 ISPS in Demides 9500 supports 200MP capture’s raw-domain pre-processing with continuous focus tracking, and the new portrait engine with 4K 60fps portrait video. It also supports the latest miravision adaptive performance feature.
Finally, Demistance 9500 has a 10% less power consumption in 5G and 20% less in Wi-Fi scenarios, while the 5CC carrier increases the accumulation bandwidth of 15%. AI positioning and network selection technologies provide 20% more accuracy, as well as 50% less network delay for AI congestion prediction.
The MediaTek Dimenses 9500 will compete against the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Jean 5 on the flagship devices. You can expect this chip to look at the upcoming Oppo Find X9 Pro and Vivo X300 at the end of this year.
