It’s official: Huawei Mate XT Ultimate will make its way outside of China after all | Infinium-tech
Huawei today shipped the first units of its first tri-fold Mate XT Ultimate in China and if you were wondering if the device will ever make it outside its home market, we have good news for you! We can now confirm that the Mate XT Ultimate will launch globally in the first quarter of 2025.
With a starting price of CNY 19,999 ($2,800/€2,550) in China, the Mate XT is already one of the most expensive pieces of tech you can buy, and when we take into account price fluctuations between China and the rest of the world, the cost could top $3,000/€3,000 for international buyers.
This is the type of cost associated with first-generation technology and we have to praise Huawei for its achievements in terms of hardware. We recently had the chance to handle the Mate XT Ultimate and we were very impressed with its build and all the possibilities the tri-folds offer.
