iPhone Fold shows up in updated CAD renders | Infinium-tech
If the rumors hold, we should see Apple’s first foray into the foldable smartphone market with the iPhone 18 Pro series later this year. The iPhone Fold has been the subject of countless speculations that have offered a broad picture of what to expect. As previous rumors have suggested, the iPhone Fold will bring a design similar to Google’s first generation Pixel Fold with a wide cover screen. The front panel is rumored to be 5.5 inches and have a single punch hole cutout for the selfie camera at the top. Based on speculation, it will go for a 4:3 aspect ratio, which would make it more useful than the square aspects of most current book foldables.
We can also see two sensors and an LED flash in the camera plateau of the iPhone Fold. Based on the latest speculations, these should be 48MP shooters.

The main screen, which is rumored to be 7.8 inches, is said to have a minimal (but not completely absent) crease as well as a punch hole cutout in the top left corner. Both the selfie cameras are expected to offer 18MP resolution.
The foldable iPhone is expected to feature a liquid metal hinge that will be attached to a titanium frame to help keep the device as light as possible. Elsewhere, the iPhone Fold is expected to have a 5,500 mAh battery and could be Apple’s most expensive phone with a starting price of over $2,000.
