iPhone Fold CAD-based render leaks, revealing very unusual dimensions | Infinium-tech
The iPhone Fold has finally been depicted in the first CAD-based render, which you can see below. It was showcased along with CAD drawings for case and other accessory manufacturers, revealing the very unusual dimensions of the device.

As previously rumored, Apple wanted to ensure that the internal screen is not square, and that you will be in landscape mode when you open the phone. This could ensure compatibility with iPad apps from day one and developers wouldn’t need to make any modifications – this is just us guessing, but it would make sense.
Apple iPhone Fold CAD measurements
The internal folding screen of the iPhone Fold measures 7.76″ and has a resolution of 2713×1920. The cover display is 5.49″ and has a 1422×2088 resolution, making for a very unusual aspect ratio. The iPhone Fold measures 120.6 x 83.8 x 9.6 mm when folded and 120.6 x 167.6 x 4.8 mm when unfolded.

You can also see the outline of the in-display selfie camera housed in the main screen, while the cover display will get a hole-punch for the selfie snapper. The iPhone Fold has two rear cameras arranged in an oval-shaped bar like the iPhone Air.
The iPhone Fold could be introduced in September, but several recent rumors claim it won’t hit the market until early 2027.
