iPhone 18 Pro rear design now rumored to go in a different direction | Infinium-tech
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to arrive alongside the iPhone Fold in September 2026, and the Pro pair were recently rumored to get a transparent design under their camera island — which would remain similar to the design introduced with the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max this year.
Now, a new rumor from China contradicts this saying that Apple is working on perfectly matching the color of the aluminum with the color of the glass cutout at the bottom of the back of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.
In the current generation, there are subtle differences between the colors, so these iPhones actually have a two-tone look. If this rumor spreads then it will end next year. We don’t know what happened to the rumored transparency, maybe it will just be a colorway?
