iPhone 17e to have a downgraded A19 chip and an improved screen | Infinium-tech
The iPhone 17e is coming soon, expected to be unveiled sometime in the coming spring. A new rumor out of China today ‘confirms’ the fact (as much as any rumor can) that it will have a 6.1-inch screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and Dynamic Island feature (which also means a hole-punch cutout in place of the iPhone 16e’s notch), and a downgraded version of the Apple A19 chip that also powers the iPhone 17.
This will definitely be the cheapest in the iPhone 17 family. These details have been rumored before, but even if nothing is official, the more rumors agree on things like this, the more likely they are to be accurate. However, it’s worth noting that some previous rumors said the 17e would have exactly the same screen as its predecessor, including the notch, only with thinner bezels.

iPhone 16E
Unlike the iPhone 16e, the iPhone 17e is also expected to support MagSafe accessories. Mass production of the iPhone 17e should begin in the coming weeks.
