iOS 26 beta 5 is here, restores the Select button in Mail, classic mode switching in the Camera app | Infinium-tech
Apple unveiled the iOS 26 in early June, as well as with the respective OS branches for its tablets, watches, computers and other gadgets. This is a major view overhaul that introduces liquid glass, but the company still does not tismatch the look. The update has not yet reached a stable milestone, but the work is moving quickly and Apple is already on the fifth beta.
After concerns that the effect was very strong, the iOS 26 beta 2 toned under the liquid glass. However, it was an over-improvement and Beta 4 dial it a little. Beta 5 has not made any changes in liquid glass.
IOS 26 changes in beta notes, journal and Apple music apps
It is a new UI animation, splash screen and a new aircraft icon. Talking about the icon, when revolving around the icon on the home screen, remove the button (-) is now transparent.
More importantly, this version allows you to undo some changes. For example, the camera has a “classic mode switching” (it reverses the direction of the mode switching). The mail app got its selection button back, making it easier to select several emails.
When your iPhone battery falls to 20%, you will see a re -designed notification that warns you and offers to turn on low power mode.
Apart from the iPhone OS, Apple also rolled out iPados 26 Beta 5, Watchos 26 Beta 5, Macos Tahoe 26 Beta 5, TVOS 26 Beta 5 and Visionos 26 Beta 5, which are on the equipment signed on the beta program.
