iOS 26.3 Beta 1 brings easier transfers to Android devices, notification forwarding | Infinium-tech
While iOS 26.2 was launched just a few days ago, Apple has already rolled out the first iOS 26.3 beta for supported devices. This release brings some notable changes, including a brand new transfer tool for users who want to migrate from iPhone to Android, as well as notification forwarding to third-party wearables.
Transfer on Android is the latest addition to Apple’s set of transfer tools. It allows you to transfer data like apps, photos, contacts, messages and more by connecting two devices to the same wireless network. The novelty is that this feature is now built into iOS and does not require any additional apps.

Notification forwarding is another big addition to iOS 26.3, but it’s only available in the EU for now. This allows third-party wearables to receive notifications from your iPhone. The feature can be enabled by going to Settings > Notifications > Notification Forwarding,
Once ticked, users will be able to choose which apps can send notifications to their wearables. The feature currently works on a single device, so if you have an Apple Watch connected to your phone, you won’t be able to receive notifications. The new feature is a direct result of the European Union’s Digital Markets Act, which has forced Apple to open up access to its iOS notification system.

Another new feature in iOS 26.3 is Weather Wallpapers, which now gets its own separate section inside the lock screen customization options.

Apple is expected to release iOS 26.3 in January.
