Honor’s new teaser details the Magic8 Pro’s telephoto camera | Infinium-tech
Honor has released some new teasers about its upcoming Magic8 Pro and specifically its 200 MP telephoto camera. It will have a 1/1.4″ type sensor, AIMAGE Honor Nox engine, a large f/2.6 aperture and, according to the brand, the industry’s first CIPA 5.5-stop image stabilization.
It should deal with handshake without any problems as it can make the shutter speed 5.5 times slower than stabilization without any adverse effects, hence the name.
The Magic8 and Magic8 Pro will be officially available on October 15 with Honor’s MagicOS 10, the latest version of its Android skin, which will of course be based on Android 16.
The Magic8 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It will have a 7,000 mAh battery that will support 120W wired charging as well as wireless charging. The other two cameras on the rear are expected to be a 50 MP main and a 50 MP ultrawide.
