Honor Magic8 Pro passes through Geekbench and confirms its top shelf chipset | Infinium-tech
Honor’s magic 8 series will become official between October and December, most likely in mid -October if rumors are to be believed, and we have already seen the Magic 8 Pro’s huge Antootu score.
Today, it appears that Geekbench is also running – a prototype, at least. It has the model number BKQ-A. 90, which is rumored to be related to Magan8 Pro. Unexpected, the upcoming device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite General 5SOC, which was made official a week ago.
The prototype running the benchmark had 16GB of RAM, and Android 16 was booted as the Magan8 Pro would undoubtedly be launched when it would eventually launch. As you can see, it managed a single-core score of 3,634 for Android and a multi-core score of 10,813 in Geekbench 6.4.0.
The Honor has already confirmed the chipset, so it is not a huge news, but if the prototype benchmarks are starting running then it means that we are getting closer to the unveiling of the Magic 8 series.
The Honor has also revealed that the magic 8 series will have a board on magicus 10, which includes deep AI integration including on-device AI models and agentary features in 3,000 scenarios covering more than 100 widely used apps. The Magic8 Pro will also have a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with an 85 mm equivalent lens and f/2.6 aperture.
