In May we heard that Honor’s upcoming magic 8 flagship series will include a mini, and today some glasses of this device have been dropped on Weibo.

The Magic 8 mini will allegedly perform 6.3 inches, and the phone will be thin and lighter – Very Thin, really. Because of this, it will not have a large battery, but DCS assures us that it is still much larger than one in the Apple iPhone 17 Air, and the software will be adapted to be very battery friendly.
It is not clear when the magic 8 mini will be launched, but there are some speculations on Weibo that it may arrive a while compared to other members of the family. For reference, note that Magic 7 handsets were announced in October and were released in early November, but since both MediaTek and Qualcomm are unveiling their next-gene flagship chipsets at the end of September this year, timeline may shift.
