Honor Magic V6’s hinge was put to another test as a company manager used it to do pull-ups | Infinium-tech
In a previous publicity stunt, Honor Joe sent Weller ziplining To test the hinge strength of Honor Magic V6. The latest stunt is closer to home – an Honor manager used the V6 to do pull-ups.
As before, the person’s weight hung from the phone’s hinge while the sides of the phone were attached to the ceiling (and earlier, by zip line). This is not the weakest orientation for the hinge, but it is still well above the stress that the hinge will face in daily use.

The hinge features special 2800MPa steel, making it structurally stable and impact-resistant. The price of this steel is twice that of titanium alloy.
Honor officially unveiled the Magic V6 at the beginning of the month, but it is still keeping some key details, namely price and availability, under wraps.
