Honor Magic V Flip 2’s display can withstand 350,000 folds, big battery confirmed | Infinium-tech
Honor Magic V Flip 2 is going to be declared in a few days, and the company is hypnotizing the crowd with a post on Weibo, praising the device’s durable UTG display. In addition, Honor posted another teaser that confirms impressive battery and charging glasses.

The post briefly goes through a new display technique called UTG (Ultra Thin Glass) used for flexible OLED panels. However, if you are in the smartphone industry for the last few years, you will know that it is not a new technology at all. One of the first Samsung foldables depicted UTG, and it is not clear from the Honor’s post what is different in Magic V Flip 2.
In any case, the teaser claims that the new display can withstand 350,000 folds, or in other words, at least 5 years of general use. Even after testing 350,000 folds, the panel’s crease was not larger than 50 μm.
A leak from tomorrow suggests that V Flip 2 will bring a solid 200 MP + 50 MP camera setup with a 5,500 mAh battery and 80W fast wired charging. The teaser today confirms large batteries and speedy wired charging, but also adds 50W fast wireless charging to the specs sheet.
