Here’s when the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to launch | Infinium-tech
Xiaomi’s 17 Ultra is already rumored to arrive much earlier than its predecessor, which went official in late February. Now, a new rumor from one of Weibo’s most prolific leakers claims to shed light on when we should expect it to arrive.
Apparently Xiaomi will start taking blind reservations for the device on December 15th and it will run till December 25th. Thus, the phone is reportedly going to be announced on December 26th.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is said to be priced the same as its predecessor in China. Obviously, we don’t know yet whether the same will be the case internationally. Talking about its global launch, when it will happen is still a mystery.
So far the Ultras were unveiled in China a few days ahead of the global launch at MWC in Barcelona, but that’s early March next year, so we’re wondering if we really have to wait that long or whether Xiaomi will hold a special event soon. We will let you know when we get more information.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra should definitely be the brand’s all-out camera flagship, and it is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. A few days ago a photo was leaked showing a prototype inside a heavy-duty case, which featured a surprisingly huge camera island.
