Google wants to integrate Nano Banana into Maps next | Infinium-tech
Google’s Nano is probably the best AI image generator and editor out there, and the company knows it has a very popular tool on its hands. So much so, Google is now working on integrating the Nano into one of its most popular apps: Google Maps.
If this sounds strange to you, you’re not alone, but it’s clearly happening, as are other people too. Android Authority Discovered some relevant code strings in the latest version of Google Maps. These are laying the groundwork for nano bananas to come on the map.
If you’re wondering how you would use the Nano Banana in Maps, it will apparently let you create images based on available locations in Street View. Of course, the Nano Banana will be able to give those spaces a fun new style depending on your sign.
This will either prove to be the most unique and rarely used Nano Banana integration ever, or a fun way to generate some images based on real-life locations. We will have to wait and see which direction it goes. Since some of the code strings for this are already in the latest version of the Maps app, we assume it won’t take long for this new feature to be officially released.
