Are you tired of leaks including multiple hands-on videos of the Pixel 9 Pro XL? No? If so, check out the latest video – it’s 19 minutes long and is a proper hands-on look at the new flagship model. There may not be anything left to reveal until the August 13 announcement.

Starting with the exterior, it looks like Google (like Samsung) has adopted Apple-style flat edges for this generation. The distinctive visor camera bump juts out quite a bit from the back and it no longer stretches from side to side, but is now more like an island.

The front has a 6.8″ LTPO OLED display with a resolution of around QHD+ and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The front and back are protected with a flat sheet of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 (the back has a matte finish).

As for the new Tensor G4 chipset, it is said to be only 15% faster than the G3, so it lags behind the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, however, despite using the same capacity of 5,050mAh, Google managed to significantly improve battery life.

The camera system has a 50MP main, 48MP ultra wide, and 48MP 5x periscope – in other words, the same as last year. The front-facing camera has been improved, going from 10.5MP to 42MP.

Based on previous leaks, the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL price will start at €1,200 for the base 128GB model, then go up to €1,690 for the top 1TB model.
