The Pixel 9 smartphone launched last year came up with upgraded biometrics as Google converted some models into an ultrasonic type from the optical fingerprint scanner. Ultrasonic fingerprint readers will continue in the upcoming Pixel 10 series, but they will be better than the people we have on the Pixel 9 series.
