Google brings split-screen Gemini to more Galaxy and Pixel foldables and tablets | Infinium-tech
Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Fold6 with One UI 6.1.1, and the interface allowed the Gemini to work in split-screen mode. At the time, it was the only phone and UI that offered this AI assistant feature, but Google eventually decided to expand this service to other large-screen Android devices.

Multiple sources have revealed that the feature is available on Galaxy Tab tablets, the older Galaxy Z Fold foldable, Google Pixel tablets, and Fold devices. This is essentially an option that allows the app to operate in a floating window, provided the interface has that feature.
Among tablets and foldables, Gemini is being given a handlebar to rotate the screen around in a floating window. Users can ask Gemini about the screen in the background, but another major function of the AI is to research a topic in the video/text that is on another part of the screen.
