Things have been quiet in terms of announcements this week, and that has led to a plethora of rumors in our news section.
Samsung is expected to launch its Galaxy S25 Ultra with a big 6.86-inch screen and thin bezels, which are rumoured to measure 2.3mm compared to the S24 Ultra’s 3.35mm. The upcoming Samsung flagship should have slightly rounded corners, making it easier to handle.
A new leak has revealed the colour options for the iPhone 16 Pro series. Apple seems to have opted for white, black, grey, and gold, all of which will have the titanium prefix.
Leaked slides for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset shed more light on what we can expect. The flagship chip will be built on a 3nm node with an eight-core formation and Orion CPU cores. The CPU will be assisted by Adreno 8-series GPUs with performance and efficiency improvements, as well as a new NPU and “low-power AI” (LPAI) subsystem.
The exact dimensions and screen size were revealed by Ice Universe.
All colours will be named Titanium.
There will be two variants, the SM8750 and the SM8750P. The “P” probably stands for “Performance.”
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 14 Pro has been spotted in a certification listing with 90W fast charging. According to a listing by China’s 3C agency, Samsung’s Galaxy A16 5G will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery.
The specific model is not 100% confirmed, but it is very likely.
This number certainly won’t surprise anyone.

Qualcomm has also officially introduced its Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 which is the successor to last year’s 7s Gen 2. The new chip promises 20% better CPU performance, 40% faster GPU, 30% better AI performance and 12% power savings compared to its predecessor. The new chip is expected to arrive in Xiaomi phones early next month.
We’ve also got some samples that show off the new Zoom Enhance feature coming to Google’s Pixel 9 series and Pixel 8 Pro. Samsung has expanded the Circle to Search functionality to include music recognition.
These were shared by Google’s own Peyman Milanfar, who worked on the feature. Zoom Enhance was originally announced for October 2023.
Or on your phone itself. And you can also hum or sing a song and that too will get you recognition.
