Extensive leak shows off Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra images, specs | Infinium-tech
A few weeks ago, official images of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra were leaked, showing a glimpse of the design – and also revealing how little it would change. Now the same source has several more images of both slates, as well as specifications.
First things first, the S10 generation will only come in two sizes – 12.4” and 14.6”, the 11” model has been cut out. Both displays are listed as “Dynamic AMOLED 2X Anti-Reflection” displays. The last part is new – could it be the same tech as what’s on the Galaxy S24 Ultra?
You can find the dimensions of both slates below. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has two 12MP front-facing cameras (one with a wide and the other an ultra-wide lens), which means it sports a notch. The Tab S10+ has a single 12MP camera and no notch. On the back, both tablets have identical dual cameras with 13MP main and 8MP ultra-wide modules.
Tab S9+ | Tab S10+ | Tab S9 Ultra | Tab S10 Ultra | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Width | 285.4 mm | 285.4 mm | 326.4 mm | 326.4 mm |
Height | 185.4 mm | 185.4 mm | 208.6mm | 208.6mm |
Thickness | 5.7 mm | 5.6mm | 5.5mm | 5.4 mm |
Weight (Wi-Fi/5G) | 581 g/586 g | 571 g/576 g | 732 g/737 g | 718 g/723 g |
As you’ve probably heard, both tablets will use the Dimensity 9300+ chipset. However, the Tab S10+ will have up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, while the higher-priced Tab S10 Ultra will have up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage (these are the same capacities as the S9-series slates). The tablets will have microSD slots for expandable storage.
Both will be available in Wi-Fi and 5G versions, with slightly different weights as you can see in the table above. Interestingly, the Ultra will have Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, while the Plus will only get Wi-Fi 6E (despite using the same chipset). Both will support Bluetooth 5.3.
Samsung has cut the thickness of both tablets by 0.1mm, but the battery capacity remains the same as last year: 10,090mAh for the Tab S10+ and 11,200mAh for the Tab S10 Ultra. The charging system remains unchanged at 45W.
Well, what will reportedly change is the price – Samsung is expected to charge more for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra. The Tab S10 series is expected to arrive sometime next month.
