Detailed specs for Samsung’s Galaxy A16 4G and 5G emerge | Infinium-tech

Samsung is expected to announce its entry-level Galaxy A16 in 4G and 5G versions in December and we now have detailed spec sheets for both. The latest round of leaks comes after renders and pricing leaks and confirms everything we can expect to see from the two upcoming A-series phones.

Key specifications and renders of Galaxy A16 5G

As their names suggest, the Galaxy A16 4G and A16 5G are almost identical phones, with the main difference being their chipsets. In Europe where the new listing is, the A16 5G will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1330 SoC. Previous leaks suggest that other regions like Southeast Asia will see the A16 5G alongside MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300.

The A15 4G, on the other hand, will bring MediaTek’s older Helio G99, just like its predecessor.

Key specifications and renders of Galaxy A16 4G

Rest of the specifications of both Galaxy A16 variants are same. It sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display (FHD+ 90Hz), 50MP main camera, 5MP ultrawide and 2MP macro modules, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging. Both phones will have 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, which will support memory card expansion via microSD.

Samsung is also expected to offer up to 6 years of Android updates and security patches. The Galaxy A16 4G should be priced around €210 in Europe while the Galaxy A16 5G will start at €240.
