CMF Headphone Pro in for review | Infinium-tech
Premium over-ear headphones no longer need to be prohibitively expensive, anything the CMF brand believes. Meet the CMF Headphones Pro, for just €100 (but below €80 As of now), they are well-made, feature-rich and most importantly, they sound excellent.
For the price, you get headphones, a nice soft-touch bag, and a 3.5mm audio cable. The headphones come in light grey, light green and dark grey.
The headphone band design doesn’t fold, which is an issue if you plan to carry them often. On the upside, the headphones are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The band is clad in a soft leather-like material that sits on your head like a cloud.
There’s just enough pressure to keep the ear cups on your ears. The cups are easily removable and can be swapped out for a different color. They’re also soft-touch and don’t clamp too tightly on your ears.
There’s every indication that the CMF Headphones Pro are a comfortable set for long wearing sessions.
The controls on the Headphones Pro are excellent. More importantly, all controls are physical switches and buttons; None of those touch-sensitive solutions here. There is a handy scroll wheel on the right cup. Swipe up and down for volume, press for pause and play, press twice for the next song, and three times for the previous one.
Press to switch between active noise cancellation and transparency modes. Speaking of, there’s great passive sound isolation—colleagues said they couldn’t hear maximum-out loudness inside the earcups. Once you enable ANC, 90% of the outside world disappears. The noise cancellation seems really impressive in the short time I’ve tested it.
There is a 0-100% slider on the left cup that defaults to bass but can be set to treble as well. It has a granular control on the bass that is very well implemented. This way, you always have it at your disposal, which is excellent.
It all sounds great for the CMF Headphones Pro. The set really punches just above its weight class €80This price is a prime day deal on Amazon. The CMF Headphones Pro are €99 on Nothing’s website.
