You know how, despite promising yourself years ago that you’d never do it again, you keep trying. Yes What do you think when websites ask you to send them notifications? If so, then you surely know how annoying it is when you are bombarded with notifications from different websites.
Thankfully, Google Chrome has a solution – instant unsubscribe feature in the notification itself. It’s launching first on Pixels, but promises to be rolled out to more Android devices “soon”, and it offers an unsubscribe option right inside the notification itself. The new Security Checkup will notify you of actions it takes, such as revoking permissions from sites you no longer visit, flagging unwanted notifications, and more. It will also remind you of things that need your attention, such as any security issues that need to be resolved.
Finally, you can choose to grant permissions like access to your camera and mic for a one-time only. Once you leave the relevant site, the permissions will be revoked and the site will no longer be able to use them unless you explicitly grant them again.
