Canceled Google Pixel Tablet 2’s specs leak | Infinium-tech
Google has reportedly canceled the Pixel Tablet 2, as we found out last month, and today we’ve got some new details about what could have been — but won’t be.
The Pixel Tablet 2 was going to sport a 10.95-inch 2,560×1,600 resolution 120Hz refresh rate LCD screen with 550-nit peak brightness, the Tensor G4 SoC (though there will also be a slightly lower performance version) in the Pixel 9a. ), and even 5G support in one version.

This would have been enabled by the Exynos modem 5400 that is in the Pixel 9 smartphone. However, the tablet has no satellite communications. The 5G variant will also have GPS.
The selfie camera on the Pixel Tablet 2 will see an update from 8 MP to a 10 MP sensor, while the rear camera will be 11 MP with autofocus (a fairly significant upgrade to the original Pixel Tablet’s 8 MP fixed focus camera). Despite the same selfie snapper as the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, the tablet may not have support for face unlock.
Finally, the canceled device is rumored to support DisplayPort output up to 4K. It would have come with a Google-made keyboard and stylus. But that’s all irrelevant now because the Pixel Tablet 2 isn’t coming – or at least, this device isn’t coming. Google may definitely launch something else in the future and call it this.
