Boox Palma 2 adds faster chipset, Android 13 and a fingerprint scanner | Infinium-tech
The original Boox Palma gained popularity as a compact e-reader that also doubled as a smartphone and the new Palma 2 is here to fix some of its shortcomings. Although it may look similar to its predecessor, the Palma 2 has an advanced eight-core CPU that will help it perform faster in day-to-day tasks.
The new model also boots Android 13 which may not be the latest version but it is still a nice update coming from the Android 11 interface on the Palma 1. The other new addition is the fingerprint scanner which is embedded in the power button.
The rest of the hardware is carried over to the Palma 1 with a 6.13-inch E Ink Carta 1200 screen with Boox Super Refresh technology. You also get dual speakers, a programmable smart button, and the same 16MP rear-facing camera. The Palma 2 also has a microSD card slot and a 3,950 mAh battery.
The Boox Palma 2 comes in black and white colors. pricing begins $280 For 8/128GB trim and you can pre order From Boox’s website. The device is available for pre-order from Boox. The Boox Palma 1 is now discounted to $246.
Boox also announced a new version of its Note Air4c color ePaper notebook and the 13-inch Note Max.

The Note Air4 C brings a 10.3-inch Kaleido 3 E Ink screen with stylus support and an eight-core chip that is 50% faster than the existing Note Air3 C. It boots Android 13 and packs 6GB of RAM, up from 4GB. Air3 C. Storage is still 64GB and can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
Note the Air4 C is 10 grams lighter than its predecessor at 420 grams. It brings a 3,700 mAh battery and is priced at $500 and on pre order From Boox’s official website.

The Note Max is a monochrome e-ink tablet with a 13.3-inch e-ink Carta 1300 display that’s exactly A4 size. It brings a 2.8GHz eight-core chipset and is only 4.6mm thick. Boox has not yet provided detailed pricing and availability details.
