Following the developer-focused release revealed yesterday, today Apple has made the first public beta of iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 available to those who are part of its beta program.
If you are switching to iOS 26.3 you get an easier way to transfer your data to an Android device. This is something that is also being added to Android by Google.

There’s a new notification forwarding feature for third-party wearables in the EU, which allows notifications to be forwarded from an iPhone to a third-party device, as the name suggests. This was mandated by the EU and ensures that you can receive notifications on third-party wearables. Apple’s current implementation does not allow notifications to be displayed on the Apple Watch when notification forwarding is turned on.
There are also new weather wallpapers, inside a dedicated weather section in the wallpaper gallery. This resulted in the Weather and Astronomy section being split into separate Weather and Astronomy sections.
