Apple now expected to increase iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max production | Infinium-tech
According to analysts from investment bank Morgan Stanley, Apple is obliged to reduce the production of the iPhone 17 series. For 2025, this order will reach a number in 90 million less than 84–86 million units.
Production growth will be mainly focused on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, as the iPhone air demand has been lower than the prediction so far. But, if this report is accurate, Apple reduced to how many people want to buy a Pro or Pro Max, and are now going to be suited to increase market demand for those models.
Morgan Stanley analysts feel that the demand for the iPhone 17 model is mainly coming from the owners of very old iPhones, and they hope that even more users will be in that category next year. It will be well bent for the upcoming iPhone 18 model and foldable iPhone, which is expected to make its debut at the end of 2026.
The company now hopes that Apple expects to sell 243 million iphones next year, but by saying that it can reach 270 million units, if iPhone fold and apple intelocation facilities will manage both strong demands. It is like saying that “Apple will sell more iPhones if more people would like to buy them” – is clearly true, but also and in itself is not an insight.
