Apple is working on a ChatGPT-like app ahead of the next-gen Siri | Infinium-tech
According to Apple’s internal sources, the company has created an app like a chatgpt for iPhones that helps the engineering team develop the next generation of Siri, which is powered by the LLM.
Rentally, the AI Division is using the internal app to test new -cordial features, including the ability to search through personal information such as songs, emails, photos, videos, etc. It is also capable of executing in-app functions, such as editing photos.
The name of the app is “Veritus”, which translates into “truth”, and for now, it is only designed for internal use. Apple has no plans to release it to eliminate consumers, and it is only to test the characteristics that the Siri team is still working.
Veritas app is like a chatgip. You can engage in interaction with Apple’s LLM, and the software can store previous chats of users. Nevertheless, officers and other Apple officials have expressed reluctance to enter the AI Chatbot market on several occasions. Therefore, the decision not to be public with Veritas is not all surprising.
The new AI-in-manual and much more intelligent Siri was originally scheduled to come to this spring, but Apple delayed the launch, and the new release timeframe is now scheduled for March next year. Meanwhile, Apple has filed advanced talks with Openai, Google and Anthropic to help develop the new -headed.
In addition to Siri, Apple plans to integrate its AI into other devices, including home appliances, homepod speakers, and Apple TV.
