Another Samsung Galaxy A16 5G version runs Geekbench with a different chipset | Infinium-tech

Earlier this month, the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G was spotted on Geekbench powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset. Today, another variant of the Galaxy A16 5G has also been spotted in the Geekbench database, but with a completely different SoC.

This time Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 takes the lead. We compared the scores, but the two devices run different versions of Geekbench.

Another version of the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G with a different chipset appears on Geekbench

The issue here is that it seems that Samsung will offer the A16 5G with two different chipsets depending on the market. The SM-A166P with Dimensity 6300, and the SM-A166E with Exynos 1380, a chip that is also used in the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A35.

The prototype Galaxy A16 5G shown on Geekbench today only had 4GB of RAM, so we’re definitely hoping it has more options. By the way, Samsung is also working on a 4G-only Galaxy A16.
