Another rumor claims iPhone 18 Pro will get an upgraded selfie camera | Infinium-tech
A report in November last year claimed that Apple would be upgrading the selfie cameras across the entire iPhone 18 lineup. Now a new rumor confirms the upgrade but suggests that the improved front camera may be limited to the Pro model.
According to tipster WhyLab, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will feature 24MP selfie cameras, a claim that is in line with a November report that also pointed to a 24MP front sensor upgrade.
If accurate, the new sensor should provide better performance for selfies, video calls, and low-light selfies.
The iPhone 18 Pro lineup is also rumored to have a very small dynamic island, with some of the Face ID components reportedly running below the display.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max along with the iPhone Fold in September this year.
