Your Samsung Galaxy Watch can now measure your blood pressure in the US | Infinium-tech
Samsung’s blood pressure measurement is now available in the US for the Galaxy Watch4 and later models running Wear OS 4 and higher. Blood pressure monitoring and tracking is handled by the Samsung Health Monitor app.

The only caveat is that, to ensure accuracy, you’ll need to use an upper arm cuff every 28 days to calibrate the watch’s readings. The Galaxy Watch measures your heart rate as well as systolic and diastolic blood pressure using the heart rate monitoring sensor.

“Later this year,” Samsung will also launch passive monitoring, which will show blood pressure trends over time. Blood pressure monitoring is the latest in a growing list of health and wellness tools available for the Galaxy Watch, which also includes Samsung’s sleep apnea feature, the first feature of its kind to be authorized by the FDA.
