You can now buy physical printed books on Spotify | Infinium-tech
In February, Spotify announced Pages Match, a feature that syncs your reading progress across audiobooks, e-books, and printed books. During that announcement, it also revealed plans to partner with Bookshop.org and let you buy physical printed books through Spotify.
It goes live today in the US and UK. Right now, support for purchasing books is only available on Spotify’s Android app. It’s coming to iOS next week.

Page Match is also expanding to more than 30 additional languages, including French, German, and Swedish. The feature seems to have been quite successful so far, as Spotify says people who have used it stream an average of 55% more audiobook hours per week than other listeners. Additionally, 62% of “Page Matched” audiobook titles on Spotify are books that users had never streamed before.
Audiobooks on Spotify are now available in 22 countries with 700,000 titles. After initial launch on iOS, Audiobook Recaps is now available on Android. According to Spotify, these are short audio summaries “tailored to your most recent listening point to give you a refresh on the story so far, making it easy to jump in”.
Finally, audiobook charts are coming to Germany, ranking the top audiobooks overall and by genre based on listening behavior and engagement. This ranking will be updated weekly. And in the UK and US, where these are already available, there will be a dedicated chart for children’s and family titles.
