Xiaomi Smart Band 9 lands in Europe on August 16, price revealed | Infinium-tech
Xiaomi’s latest fitness band was officially launched in China last month, and now it’s almost ready to arrive in Europe. Xiaomi’s online store for the NetherlandsThe Smart Band 9 will go on sale for the first time on August 16 at 10 am local time.
It costs €39.99. The Smart Band 9 also has an NFC-enabled version, which is undoubtedly going to be a little more expensive. The Smart Band 9 comes in four colours – pink, black, white and blue.
It has a quick strap change system, and there’s also a ceramic version (the regular version is made of metal), but it’s unclear if that will make the trip to Europe.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 features 21 days of battery life (9 days with Always On display), a linear vibration motor with 20 vibration modes, and a heart rate sensor with 16% better accuracy than the Smart Band 8.
The screen is a 1.62″ OLED with a 490×192 resolution and 1,200-nit peak brightness, which helps a lot with visibility in the sun compared to its predecessor. It comes with over 150 fitness modes, and has a 233 mAh battery that takes an hour to fully charge. The Smart Band 9 has Bluetooth 5.4 and a water resistance of 50 meters.
As you can see from the image above, if you buy one in the Netherlands during the first sale, you can get a pair of Redmi Buds 4 Active TWS earbuds for just €1.99 (which means you’ll be saving €11 compared to buying both items separately).
