Xiaomi is expected to unveil a successor to the Mix Fold 4 later this year. The upcoming foldable, which may be called Mi Mix Fold 5 or Xiaomi Fold 17, was recently spotted in the Mi code database. Now, a fresh leak has revealed the key specifications and price of Xiaomi’s next-generation foldable phone.
Tipster Digital Chat Station shared new details on Weibo, claiming that Xiaomi’s upcoming foldable prototype features a 7.5- to 7.6-inch flexible display with ‘seamless-crease’ technology.

According to the leak, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5 will have a battery with a capacity of around 6,000mAh. It is said to also support wireless charging.
The foldable is tipped to feature a 200MP camera, full water-resistance rating, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, Xiaomi is reportedly developing a custom in-house Xring chipset for the device.
Finally, the tipster suggests that Xiaomi’s next-generation foldable could be priced around CNY 10,000, which is roughly $1,400.
