Xiaomi 18 Pro could get a privacy display feature, says tipster | Infinium-tech
Recently, leading tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that Samsung is testing its Privacy Display feature for the rumored Galaxy S27 Pro. Now, the tipster says that a similar hardware-level privacy screen feature will be introduced on the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro series.
According to the tipster, Xiaomi is testing a new 2K display for the upcoming Pro series that includes privacy display technology similar to the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

The tipster says the display combines both hardware and software-based privacy features to help protect on-screen content from viewers.
While the tipster did not explicitly mention the Xiaomi 18 Pro series, comments in the Weibo thread suggest that the digital chat station was referring to the upcoming flagship lineup. The tipster also reiterated that the lineup will be unveiled in September.

Xiaomi 17 Pro Max
The Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max are rumored to retain the secondary rear display introduced with the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. However, the rear screen is said to grow up to 4 inches.
According to rumors, the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset. The Pro is said to have a 6.3-inch display and a 7,000mAh or larger battery. The 18 Pro Max, on the other hand, is expected to come with a 6.9-inch display. Both phones are also rumored to have dual 200MP rear cameras.
