Watch the Sony Xperia I VIII launch live | Infinium-tech
The Sony Xperia I VIII, which we’ve been hearing about for a while, will be unveiled on May 13. The launch will be live-streamed on YouTube at 2pm UTC, and you can follow along with us by tuning into the stream below.
Sony has not yet detailed the specs sheet of the Xperia I VIII, but thanks to leaked renders, we know what the smartphone will look like. It will have a notchless display on the front and a triple-camera setup on the back, aligned in an inverted L layout.
The triple rear camera setup is rumored to include a primary, an ultrawide, and a telephoto unit, with focal lengths equivalent to 24mm, 16mm, and 70mm, respectively. The telephoto unit’s sensor is reported to be in the 1/3″ to 1/2″ size range.
