This is when RedMagic is launching its next gaming tablet | Infinium-tech
RedMagic launched the Astra gaming tablet internationally last June, and now it’s almost ready to unveil its successor. We believe it will be called the Astra 2 globally, but inside China it will be known as the Redmagic Tablet 5 Pro (the original Astra Tablet was the 3 Pro and they’re dropping the number 4 due to tetraphobia).
During the launch of the 11S Pro series today, RedMagic also started teasing the upcoming tablet, the image of which you can see below. The brand has revealed that the tablet will go official in June, i.e. exactly a year after its predecessor.

According to RedMagic the new tablet has ten cutting-edge technologies, but the brand has not revealed any of them yet. We fully expect it to start teasing some specifications in the coming days and weeks.
In the meantime, we can mention a leak from March that claimed the Astra 2 would have a screen with a 200Hz refresh rate, the same size as its predecessor, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, and a battery of around 9,000 mAh. Compared with the original Astra, the chipset is upgraded, the battery is larger, and the refresh rate is higher.
