The body of the Watch 6 is made of recycled aluminum alloy with 316L stainless steel elements. It weighs 41 grams and is 10.8 mm thick – this is especially impressive when compared to the Honor Watch 5 Ultra, which is 11 grams heavier (it weighs 52 grams), slightly thicker (11.4 mm) and has a battery capacity of only 480mAh. We say “only”, but 500mAh or more is actually quite typical for a 46mm watch. At 980mAh, it even beats the Honor Xiaomi Watch 5, which has a bigger battery of its own – 930mAh. However, the Xiaomi weighs 56 grams and has a thickness of 12.3 mm.
The Watch 6 measures 46.5mm and has precisely crafted beveled edges around its 1.46″ display. Honor calls it a racing dashboard design. And yes, it has a round display unlike the vanilla Honor Watch 5, which is why we compared it to the Ultra above. You can get it in Twilight Brown (brown leather strap) or Shadow Black (black fluoroelastomer strap). Note: Weights listed are without straps.
The display can reach 3,000 nits peak brightness. You can customize it with live photos and short videos (up to 10 seconds). And its touchscreen functionality works even with wet fingers, so you can go for a run in the rain.

You don’t even need a touchscreen to control the watch – Honor has developed wrist-twist gestures that let you silence alarms, manage calls and skip songs.
We mentioned water earlier – the watch is IP69 rated and can be used in pools and beachside swimming. Just don’t dive with it. The watch supports over 120 sports modes with many highlights.
Trail running mode features an AI coach that gives you detailed climb and distance metrics. For badminton, you get the Smash Speed report. For football, heat and trajectory maps.

Honor Watch 6 has advanced health tracking and sports features
Outdoor sports are tracked with dual-band “six-star” GPS (ie it supports six constellations, including Galileo and Beidou). And when you’re out and about, you can use the NFC feature to make payments with MasterCard and Visa.
Quick Health Scan can give you comprehensive health analysis at any time and you’ll wake up every morning with a daily health report ready for review. Honor says its IntelliSense has richer, more uniform signal acquisition than usual PPG Sensors (heart rate and blood-oxygen sensor).
Note that like other Honor watches, the Watch 6 runs on a proprietary MagicOS and not Wear OS. It is compatible with both Android (9.0+) and iOS (15.1+) phones. It has 4 GB storage built-in, which can be used to store maps.
Honor Watch 6 is available from today (June 18). The regular price of the Shadow Black edition is €250/£230, while the Twilight Brown edition is €270/£250. However, during the first month, you can get the Black Edition for just €170/£150 (that’s an €80/£80 discount). Again, the leather version is €20/£20 more.
